Description
Yumbolt brings back that old-fashioned flavor from the fabled hills of Humboldt Co. California. Isolating the female put our noses to the test. With so many individuals exhibiting great aromas our whole staff had to participate in the selection – a job we all loved.
The growth pattern of the feminized version is the same as original Yumboldt, forming golf ball size buds with layer after layer of trichromes covering the sphere. This girl is a definite must for smokers who love the great taste of what Indica based bud should be. The stone is sedative but not enough to leave you stupid. For sure your joints aroma will be the most recognizable at the party. Thick and pungent the smell should be bottled and sold as the best pot perfume, good to the last puff.
Possessing a sedative stone with an outdoor aroma, she will often induce heavy eyelids with a satisfying smile. From the first toke till the last the taste remains. A producer of large succulent flowers, this girl will qualify for every grower’s wants and desires. Cannabis connoisseurs cannot resist her hypnotizing powers.
History
This strain is believed to have originated from Himalayans of Afghanistan and acclimatized in the mountains of Humboldt County California in the late 70’s.
Several generations later in the early 90’s we were blessed with the seeds and then propagated them in Holland. Sagarmatha entered her in a Cannabis Cup and received an honorable mention. An outdoor sample from a customer in 2001 had similar characteristics as the samples smoked in Humboldt in the early 80’s.
Yumbolt will bring you high up in the hills and let you experience some real Californian sunshine.
Growth and characteristics
Yumbolt is a legendary Indica-Sativa hybrid that produces large, succulent flowers resembling dense, frosted pinecones. It typically reaches a height of 1 meter and has a flowering time of 60 days. Growers should start flowering when the plant has 4-7 internodes. Its unique trichome formation and sweet taste make it a favorite among connoisseurs and a rewarding challenge for growers.
